Blackberries. Seriously, blackberries, all warm and juicy in the sun- and the thorns and stickers just make them that much more precious. Or maybe huckleberries. Oh, its’ a hard call….

Raspberries are my favorite berry. I’ll often by raspberries, strawberries and blueberries and serve them with frozen cool whip for a summer dessert.

strawberries, sweet, red and juicy-perfect for shortcakes, eating alone (with whipped cream) or dipped in chocolate! So many things you can do recipe wise with them, or if you like, eat them all by themselves. Thanks for having the giveaway.

My favorites berry is def the strawberry, but my favorite summer fruit is the nectarine. A fresh juicy nectarine can stain my lips this very pretty just kissed color, along with tasting so great. Love!
Thanks for this chance – I am just trying out stains, and this would be great to get!

I love raspberries. I was just making a vinegarette and I was stealing some berries as I was making them. I looked in the mirror and my lips were stained. They looked great. I love BENETINT cheek and lip stain. I’d love to try Tarte’s.

My favorite summer Barry would be White, Barry White…. There’s something cheesy about listening to a little “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love Baby” while driving with the windows rolled down on a hot summer night… Accompanied, of course, with off-key singing and the clicking of bugs hitting the windshield.

Strawberries, they just so bring summer to mind. Where I grew up we used to be able to go to local farms and pick them ourselves, and thus get them much FRESHER and much cheaper than at the grocery store, we would come home with 10’s of lbs. We would freeze them to make strawberry shortcakes, etc year round. That was the most fun, picking them yourself and just eatting a ton when you got home 😀

My favorite summer berry is the blueberry. Not because I like to eat them because I could actually care less for the tast but because of the time I spend with my son collecting them. Every summer during picking season we go out a couple days a week to pick blueberries. We pack a lunch and sometimes our fishing poles. We make a day filled with memories. Most of the time we give the berries away sharing the joy with others.

My favorite summer berries are strawberries because there used to be a strawberry patch in my mother’s garden when I was young. My brother and I used to stain our hands red from picking them in plastic bowls for my Mom, and then we would take mason jars and run around catching fireflies while she baked shortcakes. They made the humid nights smell sweet and I am always taken back to those times when I eat them.

I just to spend HOURS picking them ( and of course getting picked) Then on of his friends would take me to make blackberry pie. So delicious. Im from California so I thought that was the GREATEST.

My favorite summer berry is the blue berry. I probably wouldn’t be much of a blue berry fan if it wasn’t for all those years. Every summer, my family goes blue berry picking at the same farm we’ve been going to ever since I was probably five. We used to live half an hour away from the farm and even back then, I would pick blue berries as a little kid. We’d drive our little low income butts over in our old (but very long lasting) van and we’d just run around, pick, and eat! Everyone in my family would go. After probably ten years, we moved to the city where the blue berry farm is. We still pick blue berries and now, we do it with my uncle and aunt. It’s a family tradition, blue berry picking. I plan to bring my kids blue berry picking when they’re born.

In the summer, when our strawberries grow and the bunnies hop around eating people’s grass from yard to yard, I call my kids to come out and pick them. Sure the strawberries my be just almost over a centimeter and a half long, but everyone one in my family eats them an smiles! They’re extremly sweet and it shows that one little small sweet thing can lead another person to happiness. And it’s even cuter when you watch the kids eat the sour ones!

My favorite summer berry is the black berry. My family always goes up to the park at the tallest and highest point walking almost a mile to a place of of black berries. The best part of picking black berries with the family is listening to all the shrieks of my little brother and sister after trying to grab that great big bunch of berries but finding themselves tangled and poked by vines. It’s a kid moment to remeber.

I would love to give an answer naming some unique or exotic berry that no one else has mentioned, but, like many others on this post, I absolutely adore raspberries! They have been my favorite fruit (I would even go so far as to say, favorite food!) since I was a child.
I just can’t get enough of them, and, for me, they are best when eaten in their original form — as sweet (and sometime sour!), juicy berries eaten by the handful. I wouldn’t turn down a naturally flavored raspberry-themed smoothie, sauce, or dessert either, though 😉
    Best berry ever!!!!

All the berries–blueberry, strawberry, cranberry gooseberry make the most beautiful sumer desserts with litle sugar and tons of flavor and visual appeal. Top that off with the antioxidant and health values of the berry–and top that pie off with a little creme fraiche! Enjoy!

I love all kinds of berries, especially in the summer when they are even more fresh and juicy than they are during the winter months. I have to say that this summer we ate more blueberries than ever before because of their nutritional value. So, I would have to say the blueberry is my favorite summer berry. They are of course not quite as sweet and succulant than strawberries and raspberries and not as exotic as blackberries, but I really try and incorporate the healthiest foods into my family and blueberries just naturally protect against so many different potential health problems. One a side note, I am dying to try some Tarte Cosmentics! I have been reading so much about them both in magazines and online and they sound fabulous!
