Makeup ala Mimi/Dior - What were they thinking!?

In a post called, “Crazy Things do Happen - Even in the Makeup World“ from Beautiful Makeup Search, this picture was shown from a recent DiorFashion Show. She also mentions the new cosmetic line created by Amy Winehouse.
Mimi must have had a hand in that show!
Above is an amazing Avant-Garde look from Sephora’s 2007 Holiday Catalog. She is beautiful and mysterious. The Makeup Artists behind creating her look must be acknowledged for their extraordinary talent.
This picture, is what I think characterizes the“Makeup ala Mimi/Dior” look. At least it is entertaining.

They kinda look like Quepie (Not sure if i’m spelling that right) dolls that have been through the wash one too many times.
And yep, “Dawn of the Dead” meets the Muppets is perfect!
This is why I can’t seem to get into the blues… I’m terrified I will look like those lovely ladies in the picture… ick. :S
Maybe they were shooting for that over the top Drag Queen look?
You’re right, definitely a difference between high fashion and high crimes against fashion!
I was thinking “Dawn of the Dead” meets the Muppets. Combine the Count’s eyes and Ralph the monster’s hair and we are getting warm.
“Dawn of the Dead” is absolutely right - I can’t decide which is scarier, the makeup or the hair.
